Keep your originals

File conversion is lossy or destructive in some cases by nature — compressing an image discards data, and splitting a PDF produces new documents. Always keep an unmodified copy of any file you care about before processing it. We cannot recover a file for you, because we never receive one in the first place.

Accuracy of results

Output depends heavily on the input. Unusual, malformed, encrypted or very large files may convert imperfectly or fail entirely. Text extracted from a PDF, for example, depends on how that PDF was produced — a scanned page contains images rather than text, so no text extraction tool can recover words from it without optical character recognition. Please check results before relying on them for anything important.
